Inside the ICU

What Our ICU Has

Ventilator at every bed

Each of the 20+ ICU beds has its own ventilator. A patient who suddenly needs breathing support does not have to wait for a machine to be moved or freed up.

Doctor inside the ICU 24×7

A doctor is physically present in the ICU day and night, not just on call. Changes in the patient's condition are seen and acted on at once.

Continuous monitoring

Patients are monitored continuously for heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level and breathing, under the care of the ICU nursing team.

Specialists in the same hospital

Neurologist for stroke and seizures, nephrologists for kidney failure and dialysis, urologists, a general surgeon and general physicians. They see ICU patients without the patient being moved to another hospital.

Tests and operation theatres on campus

Laboratory tests, X-ray, ultrasound and ECG are done inside the hospital. Operation theatres are in the same building if surgery is needed.

Dialysis in the hospital

Patients whose kidneys stop working during a serious illness can be put on dialysis under the nephrology team.
