Second Opinions & Referrals

Patients have the right to seek a second opinion from another physician or hospital at any time. Appointments & Consultations

Booking Appointments

Appointments may be booked through the following channels:

  • By calling 091222 37338 or +91 8235152796 (available 24×7 for emergencies; OPD hours Mon–Sat 9 AM–7 PM)

Appointment Confirmation

An appointment is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from our reception team by phone, SMS, or WhatsApp. Online form submissions constitute a booking request — not a confirmed appointment until acknowledged by our team.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Patients are requested to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of OPD appointments
  • For surgical procedures, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule
  • The Hospital reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to emergency cases, specialist unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Repeated no-shows without notice may result in requiring advance payment for future appointments

Waiting Times

While we make every effort to see patients at their scheduled time, waiting times may be longer than expected due to emergency admissions, complex cases, or high patient volumes. The Hospital appreciates your patience and will keep you informed of any significant delays.

Telemedicine & Remote Consultations

Where available, telemedicine consultations are subject to the same terms as in-person consultations. The treating doctor's clinical judgment regarding the suitability of telemedicine for any given case is final. Telemedicine is not available for emergency situations.

Important: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment with all relevant previous medical records, reports, X-rays, and a valid photo ID. Incomplete records may delay your consultation.
4
Patient Responsibilities

We believe in a collaborative approach to healthcare. To receive the best possible care, patients and their attendants are expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, current medications, allergies, previous surgeries, and any other relevant health information
  • Inform the treating doctor of any changes in your condition during the course of treatment
  • Provide accurate personal information including name, address, and contact details for medical records

Following Medical Advice

  • Follow the treatment plan, medication schedule, and dietary instructions as prescribed by your treating doctor
  • Attend follow-up appointments as advised
  • Inform your doctor if you are unable or unwilling to follow any part of the prescribed treatment plan

Hospital Rules & Conduct

  • Maintain respectful and courteous behaviour towards all hospital staff, doctors, nurses, and other patients
  • Adhere to visiting hours and visitor restrictions for the safety of all patients
  • Refrain from smoking, alcohol consumption, or use of tobacco products anywhere on hospital premises
  • Keep noise levels low in patient care areas
  • Do not bring outside food into ICU or ward areas without permission
  • Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode in clinical areas; phones are not permitted inside the OT or ICU

Consent

Before any significant medical procedure, surgery, or anaesthesia, informed consent will be obtained from the patient or their legal guardian. You have the right to ask questions about any procedure before giving consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, but you should be informed by your doctor of the potential clinical consequences of withdrawing consent.

Zero Tolerance Policy: Satyadev Hospital operates a zero-tolerance policy towards verbal abuse, threats, or physical violence against any member of our medical or administrative staff. Any patient or attendant who engages in such behaviour may be asked to leave the premises, and appropriate legal action may be taken.

It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional medical consultation.

Always consult a qualified doctor or healthcare professional for any health concern or medical condition. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on our website.

Clinical Decision Making

All clinical decisions — including diagnosis, treatment plans, surgery, medication, and discharge — are made by qualified medical professionals based on individual patient assessment. Treatment outcomes may vary between patients depending on factors beyond the Hospital's control including:

  • Individual patient physiology and response to treatment
  • Pre-existing conditions and co-morbidities
  • Patient compliance with treatment instructions
  • The nature and severity of the underlying condition
  • Unforeseen medical complications

Any claim of medical negligence must meet the legal standard established by Indian courts, which requires evidence of a breach of the accepted standard of care that directly caused harm to the patient.
